I’m excited (and it's a little surreal) to share that my book is out.
Ask the College Counselor: Every Family’s Guide to College Admissions and Putting Your Best Story Forward is now available.
This book isn’t just for teenagers navigating college applications.
It’s for parents, caregivers, educators, mentors, anyone supporting a young person as they think about university and what comes after high school.
I wrote it because the admissions process can feel overwhelming, confusing, and unnecessarily stressful, for students and the adults trying to help them. My hope is that everyone who reads this book walks away with:
- A clearer understanding of how the process actually works
- Practical, actionable steps
- A little more calm, confidence, and sanity for the journey ahead
Above all, I want students to feel empowered to make choices that are right for them, to have conversations around everything from "best fit" to each family being able to talk transparently about real budget and how the financial aid process works.
Each young person needs to know that their story matters.
